Oral History Centre

The Oral History Centre at the University of Winnipeg contacted CBGD in 2012 to help come up with a unique logo to represent the organization. The solution turned out was as unique as it was cliche. Yes… it’s another “speech bubble” based logo… however after trying different solutions out, it seemed the best fit. An Oral History is much like a collection of stories, all from different points of view, all from different origins, but all adding a piece to the whole. The multiple speech bubbles represent these stories, and the collection of them are intended to visually represent an abstracted maple leaf.
